with golden hearts
hands that trigger
the gun
legs that run
hold steadfast
and strong
Soldiers-
brothers in arms
afraid and brave
in one
their lives not theirs
but another's to sacrifice
Soldiers-
iron fists
with golden hearts
a gun does not make
my soldier
